Summer 2021 DFW Days of Grace

Because our last retreat was in January 2020 and it was very small (and we are all desperate to get out of the house), I've decided to schedule three retreats for this summer! They will be at three different locations but follow our usual format with a slightly different theme each time. When you register, you get to pick the ONE retreat for which you would definitely like to register. Then, you may choose to be put on the waitlist for a second or third retreat date in case they do not fill up. You will be contacted two weeks prior to the retreat with your position on the waitlist and given an opportunity to register at that time if there is space. Priority will be given to moms who are not confirmed for one of the other dates, but it will be possible for moms to attend more than one retreat if space is available.

Payment of a $30 registration fee for one retreat must be received within 5 days of your email confirmation to hold your spot.

FAQs: Moms are welcome to arrive late and/or leave early, as needed. Nurslings are always welcome to attend. Teen girls are needed at the Nazareth Retreat Center to help with food and beverages. A sign up for moms (and teens) to help with each retreat will be sent with your email confirmation. Your registration fee includes facility rental and cleaning fees, a full lunch, snacks and beverages, decor and supplies, and a goodie bag.

Refund Policy: Full refunds are only available if Jenny cancels a retreat for any reason, if an individual cancels at least two weeks prior to the retreat date, or if an individual cancels before the retreat day AND someone on the waitlist is able to fill the spot.

Covid information: Because one of the primary purposes of these day retreats are to build community, there will be no face mask requirement at our gatherings. At the Nazareth Retreat Center, we must follow the requests of the sisters (many of whom are elderly) when in the building outside of our retreat room which will be determined by July 25. We ask all participants to respect those who choose to wear masks in any situation with kindness and appropriate social distancing.

Overnight option: There is an option to stay overnight at Lamplighter Farm on that Friday and/or Saturday night, so please select that option when registering, if interested. Meals for overnight guests will be potluck (dinner and breakfast). Also, a nearby winery is having a Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band event on Saturday evening, which is an option to those who stay; those tickets are $20 plus food and beverage.
