About the event

The DFW Catholic Home Educators Conference aims to inspire, equip, and connect Catholic parents who choose to educate their children at home. Through speakers, socials, vendors, and more, conference organizers hope that homeschoolers will find the strategies and resources they need to confidently embrace their God-given roles as the primary educators of their children.

Speakers

We are blessed to have two veteran Catholic homeschooling parents and a priest who was homeschooled to highlight their own personal experiences and understanding of the beauty of Catholic homeschooling!

The schedule

All parents are welcome both days! Friday evening will be geared towards parents who are considering or consider themselves new to homeschooling and admission is FREE. Saturday will be packed with captivating speakers, informative panels, and networking socials, so attendees in any season of homeschooling can hear a variety of perspectives and get to know other parents! Tickets are required for all Saturday participants.

The venue

The University of Dallas, located in Irving, Texas between DFW International Airport and Love Field in Dallas, is the Catholic university for independent thinkers. Approximately 10-20% of the current undergraduate student body comes from a home educated background. The conference will be held primarily in their Gorman Lecture Center with some activities in the Braniff Foyer.
